Today I discovered a beautiful little Trout stream about an hour north of Montreal.
The Bass river is a beautiful little body of perfect Trout water located in the region of St-Jerome.
I was told by locals that the good fishing will begin around May, which would explain may lack of bites, but I am super pleased to find such a river only 45 min north of Montreal.
Brook Trout are the main fish present and I look forward to tight lines on the river.

Until then my patience shall have to stay strong,as anglers itch has set in full force ;)
